National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum
The museum is hosting its annual Chuck Wagon Gathering and Children’s Cowboy Festival 10am-4pm Saturday and Sunday. This annual family favorite is celebrating its 26th year and offers food samples, live western music, children’s activities, square dancing, storytelling and more.
RIVERSPORT Rapids Memorial Day Festival
RIVERSPORT Rapids, at 800 Riversport Drive, will host its inaugural festival from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday. Festivities include whitewater rafting, RiverSport Adventures, yard games, food trucks, a beer garden, food from the Big Water Grill and live music from local favorites Mike Hosty, Jamie Bramble and Loose Change. Admission to the festival is free; parking is $5. Information: boathousedistrict.org.
Paseo Arts Festival
The 40th annual Paseo Arts Festival also takes place this weekend. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, with live music until 11 p.m., and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday in the Paseo Arts District, between NW 28 and Walker and NW 30 and Dewey. Admission is free. Information: www.thepaseo.org.
